Nursery in progress

We've done quite a bit to set up the nursery over the past week.  Carlee, Kathleen and Brian restained the chest, and we set up the new crib and dresser.  I think we're going to hang a mirror over the dresser/changing table.  The counted cross stitch my mom is doing will hang over the chest, and I think we're going to hang letters spelling his name over the crib.  My next project will be the valance.  I'm going to take what was included in the decorations that we bought and change it a little.  We also still need to buy a glider.  We'll put that in the corner between the crib and the window.  Here are a few pictures.

I'm just starting my 27th week.  If he were born today, he would have an 85% chance of surviving.  He's probably a little longer than 15 inches and about 2 pounds (although, since I'm measuring big, he may be even bigger than that).  Here is a 26 week baby bump picture.

NYE in Houston

We celebrated a late Christmas/NYE with Bob, Rebecca and the kids.  They gave baby boy the cutest little newborn size outfit pictured below.  I'll probably have him wear it home from the hospital.

Baby Bump - Week 23

I'm 23 1/2 weeks.  I'm afraid he's quite a night owl; everytime I wake up in the night, he's moving around.  I just noticed this past week that we can see my belly move when he's moving, which is pretty neat.  He'll gain about 6 ounces this week; by the end of 23 weeks, he'll be about 15 inches heal to crown and weigh nearly 1 1/2 pounds.  Here are two pictures of my belly at 23 weeks.
