State Fair of Texas 2013

The Hunt company picnic was at the fair again this year (I think this is the 11th or 12th year).  I cannot believe that we forgot to get a family pic in front of the new Big Tex, but Brian did snap a pic of just Big Tex.

 

We were pretty rushed.  We had soccer for Caden this morning, and then we headed to the fair.  We rushed around to see the animals and get a few good things to eat before we had to head home for naps.  We went to the petting zoo.  Annabelle appears to be a little unsure of the camel. 

 

I fed a baby goat.  Caden only wanted to watch. 



September 2013

I seriously cannot believe it's almost October.  Caden has started playing soccer (those pictures are yet to come).  The weather is starting to cool down, and Halloween is around the corner.  I think the kids are going to be a fireman (Caden) and a fire dog/dalmation (Annabelle).  I decided to coordinate their costumes, since this may be the last year that I can pull that off. 

Brian was in Brazil this week, so my Mom came to visit us.  We went to the zoo Tue morning.  We watched the lion encounter.

 

 

Nana fed the giraffes (because Caden chickened out). 

The safari jeep is still one of Caden's favorite things to do at the zoo. 

We watched a Serval demonstration.

 

Beach Pictures

I decided to get some professional pictures taken of our family on the beach while we were in San Diego.  I'm so glad that we did, because I am so happy with how great they turned out.



San Diego Trip

We had a great time visiting Kevin, Kelly, Wyatt, Luke and Grandpa in San Diego.  The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins. 

The afternoon/evening that we arrived, the kids had fun playing in the backyard.

 

Thursday we went to the zoo.  Caden and Wyatt rode a lion.

 

Accidentally cut the head off the bear.  Annabelle was scared and refused to be in the picture.

Friday we went to the beach in La Jolla.  The kids had fun in the sand.

 

 

 

Kelly and I took the older kids to ride the train in Poway on Saturday.
