July Activities

July was a super busy month for us.  We said good bye to our Hundley house.  And we said good bye to our awesome neighbors the Martindales.

The Martindales moved out two weeks before we did.  Their last Fri night in our hood, we had fun hanging out one last time as neighbors.  The kids playing in a bucket.

One Saturday we spent the morning at the Kaycee Pool with Cyrus and Coen.  Here's a pic of Annabelle, Cyrus, and Caden eating lunch.

One Sunday, after church, Annabelle asked to take a picture with me.  I'll take it! 

 

Marty's moving day...the movers were the rest time entertainment.

We went to LEGOLAND with our friend Tessa.  Caden finally tried the police car ride. 

 

We had Caroline and Cate over to play one morning before we moved.  Annabelle, Caroline and Caden ran through  Dewey's sprinklers.

 

 

 

 

Cate wanted Caden to play with her.  He was so sweet with her, but after a while I heard him say, "Cate, can I go play with Caroline now?" To which she replied, "NO!  in a minute..." Lol! 

 

 

Last Friday, we got the keys to our new house, and then Tuesday the movers came and we handed over our Hundley keys.  One last selfie in front of our old house.



4th of July in Houston

We headed down to Houston to visit Bob, Rebecca and the kids for the long 4th of July weekend.  It was a really fun trip, and the drive wasn't too bad either.

We decided to buy a dvd player for the car, which made the trip so much easier. 

 

We spent a ton of time swimming.   

Annabelle loves playing with Hallie.  They were playing a train game around the pool with this ring. 

 

They borrowed a golf cart from a friend for us to drive around their community. 

 

The kids loved riding in it. 

 

Thur night we drove the cart over to the neighborhood pool for a pool party and awards ceremony for the kids swim team.  Jack won an enormous trophy for best overall swimmer.  He's the youngest kid to ever win it in the 50+ year history of the swim team.  The kids official swim team pic.

 

The big kids love riding this dolphin.  It's pretty tricky to get up on it, but Caden was determined to try.

Caden and Annabelle watched fireworks for the first time.  Caden liked them.  Annabelle was a little scared.  She spent 95% of the time in my lap. 



Fort Worth and Furniture Makeover

My friend Meredith moved to Fort Worth a few months ago.  We finally had a chance to go spend the day over there with her and Jonah.  We went to the Fort Worth Museum of Science, and the kids had so much fun.

We are still a few weeks away from moving, but I've been busy planning where all our furniture will go in our new house.  I have decided to swap a dresser from our room and Annabelle's room.  I repurposed our old dresser by painting it pink and changing the knobs.  I forgot to take a true before picture.

 

Annabelle graduated to the next level in swim lessons.  She's so good; she can basically swim all over our pool.
