Since we skipped the Ferris wheel at the fair, the kids insisted on riding the one at six flags.

Caden had another long weekend the week after Fall Break. He was off from school on Friday for parent teacher conferences. He's doing great and loving first grade! His teacher only had great things to say about him. He even got all 4's!
He loves reading on his new Kindle, and his reading skills are just increasing so quickly. I love watching his progress. He also loves math. One night a few weeks ago, when I was tucking him in, he pulled out a blank sheet and wanted to start making up math equations. He's been working on number bonds in class, so he wanted to do more. About an hour later, I thought he was asleep, but he came out of his room to show me what he had done. He's clearly the product of two accounting/math/finance minds :).
A few moms traded off watching the kids on the playground during our conferences. I snapped a picture of Caden playing with his friends Andrew and Luke.
They found this cute little frog.
While we were at Covenant, Annabelle went to play with two of her friends. Here's a pic of Belle, Cate, and Annabelle.
Caden played soccer again this Fall. He is really enjoying it, and he is improving so much. Here is a picture of his team lined up after the end of season trophy presentation.
