Six Flags with Nana and Papa

Nana and Papa came over for a day to spend some time with the kids before they headed back to school.  We decided to brave Six Flags.

First up: El Sombrero.

Annabelle is definitely my adventurous child.  She was all in for trying the roller coaster with loopty-loops!  Caden and Nana sat this one out.

August Activities

The kids attended VBS at our church the first week of August.  I volunteered two of the days, so I was able to snap a few pics.

We have Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor passes this year.  The kids and I went to Hurricane Harbor twice this summer.  I forgot to snap any pictures on our first trip.  Our second trip, we took our neighbors Graham and Caroline with us.  Here's a picture of the kids. 

 

We went to the zoo one last time before school started with some friends from our preschool playdate years.  Belle, Luna, Annabelle and Caden at the entrance. 

 

We headed straight to the lion exhibit.  The kids had been wanting to see the new lion cub.  Last time we visited the zoo, she wasn't out on exhibit, so they were excited to see her today.
