Christmas with Grandparents

The Christmas celebrations continued in Tyler at Nana and Papa's house.

Then over to Mimi and Tia's for our last Christmas celebration.

Annabelle likes her new ear muffs.

Silly goose wearing her ear muffs funny!

We enjoyed the break from school and lots of down time.  We were able to see some friends who we don't see as often anymore.  Meredith, Jonah, and Asher visited from Fort Worth, but I forgot to take a picture of the kids.  Then we had a fun time playing with friends from our baby-toddler-preschool play group: Caden, Luna Hartgrove, Annabelle, Caroline Purser, Cate Purser, and Belle Hartgrove.

Christmas Morning

We spent Christmas day at home just the four of us.

A few family photos before we opened the presents.

Time for stockings.

Annabelle's big ask this year was for an American Girl Doll remote control car.  She was pretty sure that the big box was going to be it, but it was fun to see her facial expressions as she opened the box.

Mary Ellen and Violet are ready to learn how to drive.

Annabelle's First Nutcracker Performance

Annabelle was so excited to perform in her first Nutcracker!

Her angel portrait.

I took a few pictures during dress rehearsal.  Annabelle is front and center in these pictures.

A video of dress rehearsal.  Annabelle is the second one in the final group to come out and circle in the middle of the stage.

A few pics of the angels backstage.

Daddy and Caden came to opening night.  Annabelle and Daddy.

A family pic.

Nana and Papa also came to opening night.

Annabelle's friend Adelaide came with her family to watch Friday's performance.

Mimi and Tia came to the Saturday night show.

The Saturday night performance is the only night that they're allowed to come out in their costumes for pictures.  A pic with Mommy in costume.

Mommy was backstage during the Sunday performance.  I was able to take a few pictures from the wings.  Annabelle is on the left, the third girl back.

Annabelle is the sixth girl from the right.

Annabelle is on the right side behind the Nutcracker.

A picture with the other Covenant 2nd graders who performed: Khloe Jensen, Annabelle, and Ann Holland Crow.

A few friends from our preschool play group days were in the show, as well.  Isla Grace Baker, Annabelle, and Luna Hartgrove.

Her friend Zoey came to Sunday's performance.

The moms of the Covenant dancers bought an ad in the program.  Here's the picture.
