Annabelle's 8th Birthday Party

 I can't believe Annabelle is turning 8!  She decided on a ballet theme cake at a gymnastics gym to combine two things she loves.  Annabelle is getting so grown up.  She's 8 going on 16!  She's strong willed and loves her friends.  She loves to be on the go, and she loves to entertain our family!

Father Son Ranch Weekend

 Brian and Caden went down to the Baker's Ghost Creek Ranch down near the Mexican Border with a group of 4th grade boys and their dads for Presidents' Day Weekend.

While the boys were away, Annabelle and I baked the layers for her birthday cake.  Annabelle loves to bake and perform quality control :).

Annabelle had a tea party for one of her friend's birthday parties.  Here she is dressed up and ready to go.  My sporty girl doesn't dress up often, so I have to take pictures when she does.

Birthdays and Valentines Day

 Nana and Papa were over visiting the weekend of Brian and Papa's birthday.

The second grade's outreach project every year is to visit a retirement home and sing songs on Valentine's Day.  Annabelle with a few girls from her class: Audrey Thomason, Annabelle, Lily Thompson, and Zoey Seale.

The house is coming along.  The mantel is constructed and ready to be painted.

The master bath is starting to look more like a bathroom.

I chose wood floor stain this week.

Basketball Season

 Basketball season is in full swing.  The kids both love playing, and Brian and I are coaching.  

Annabelle's teacher Ms. Barnett came to watch her students play one Saturday.

Caden's teacher Mrs. Patch came and watched the week that Caden's team played the other Covenant team.

One of the kids favorite events at school each hear is Hoopla.  I'm nursing another foot injury, so Brian took the kids up there.  Here's a picture of Annabelle with her friends watching the Mav's Man entertain at halftime.
