Brian's Boys' Trip & Ballet Observation Day

Brian headed to Colorado with some friends from college last weekend.  Brian, Jeff Logan, and Bill Mann during one of their hikes.

A few of the guys opted out of downhill skiing, but they went cross country skiing one day.

Annabelle's parent observation week was over zoom again.  She's taking twice a week now.  Here are a few pics from each class.

This year they've been working a lot on the eight positions of the body.  Annabelle is back left.

January Activities

Basketball season is in full swing.  Caden is just playing on his club team, and Annabelle is playing rec with school friends and on a club team.  They recognized the 4th grade girls basketball players before on of the varsity games.  The girls lined up before the game; front row: Makenna Cleary, Presley Bass, Annabelle, Hadley Sullivan, Audrey Thomason, Stella Stimson, Elena Forsythe, Anais Arcucci, Hannah Ratliff, and Abby Hawk.

Before they announced the varsity starters, they announced each 4th grader.  Here is Annabelle being announced.

Annabelle went skating with some friends last Saturday afternoon: Hadley, Audrey, Stella, and Annabelle.

My sweet friend Hilary Baker turned 40 last week.  A pic of us after her lunch party.

Bear is growing like crazy.  He turned 6 months, and he is up to 18 pounds.  The breeder told us he would be between 13-20, so he's headed to the top of that range.  Pour Bear got neutered; he looked so sad in his cone.

He was exhausted after the surgery.

He's much more adventurous now.  He hadn't even tried to go upstairs for months.  But after he snuck up there a few times, we had to put gates at the top of the stairs...too many toys to get into and chew up there!

Becky's book is being released this month; it's a compilation of funny short stories.  She sent us an advanced copy, and Annabelle had no idea she was in the book.  Becky adapted a story I had told her from when Annabelle was two and refusing to nap.  I snapped a pic right as she started reading about herself.
