Covenant Grandparents Day

This was the first Grandparents Day since 2019.  Annabelle recited Luke 10:25-37 and "Morning Fugue" and sang "I like to Sing (Scat)".  

Even though Grandparents Day is just for Grammar kids, Caden performed with the 5th/6th grade orchestra.

Becky came to town to promote the book she wrote.  One of my friends has an Instagram account, where she reviews books, so she came to the event, too.  Kira Hartgrove, Rebekah Iliff, and Laura.

After the book event in Dallas, Becky, Melissa and Laura headed to Granbury for a girls' weekend.  Downtown Granbury is a cute little area!

Caden is 12!

 Caden turned 12 on April 23rd.  He's now 5' 4" tall and 95 lbs.  Caden and Annabelle helped bake the cake for his party.

He wanted a cake with his two favorite teams.

April Activities

 One of the RSVP parties at the auction was a father daughter welding night.  Annabelle had so much fun, and they came home with a fire pit!

Caden had a "historical figure" presentation this week.  His first choice was Michael Jordan, but someone else picked him first.  So he chose Bill Gates.

I did some more painting this weekend.  I worked on two abstract pieces for our bedroom.

Cotillion for Caden

 Caden has participated in Cotillion with his classmates over the last three weeks.  They've learned etiquette and dancing.

Spring Fling 2022

The kids always look forward to Spring Fling, the surprise field day for the Grammar school.  This was Caden's first year to be too old for it.
