Back to School: 6th and 8th Grade

Another summer has come to an end.  Both kids are in Logic School this year, so both are now in black sweaters for their chapel dress.

Caden passed Mom in June, so even with a little heel on her sandals, he is still taller than she is.

Caden is ready to start another season of Cross Country.  The team picture.

End of Summer

Caden finished the summer with a tournament win: Ryan Borowczak, Dorian Brown, Isreal Samual, Tristan Hill, Crews Messer, Jake Lary, Brayden Slye, Lucas Buentipo, and Caden.

Annabelle and Lilly like the dress as twins.

I bought wallpaper for the guest bathroom about a year ago.  I finally got around to installing it.  Before picture.

And after pictures.

Annabelle has been playing on a 5th grade and 6th grade team that plays in a weekly league.  Both of her teams made it to the championship game, and both teams won.  The 5th grade team: Peyton Smith, Annabelle, Elise Sunio, Coach Adrian, Annabelle Strohbehn, Stella Sulgrove, Coach Dukes, Charlie Slye, Taylor Trampe, Mia, Charli Harris and Evelyn Yeager (in front).

Annabelle went to do a service project with a few friends: Audrey Thomason, Annabelle, Gracie Pigg, and Hadley Sullivan.

Steamboat Springs

We headed up to Steamboat Springs for the week with the Tilgers.  Let the silliness begin...selfies the first night at the restaurant.

We walked around downtown a little bit after dinner.

Ready for a hike: Hadley, Annabelle, Caden, Garrett, Emerson, and Emerson's friend, Suzanna Predtechenskis.

It ended up being a little more treacherous than we anticipated, so only 6 of us made it to the top.

Then the girls headed to the pool.

The next day we floated the river.

Against doctors orders, I decided to tube.  I just put rubber gloves over my splint and held my hand out of the water.

The girls in the shuttle on the way back.

The next day we went ziplining.  We failed to get a family picture.

The kids decided to get matching sweatshirts.

The next day, Phil and Robyn took all 6 kids to rent bikes.  So Brian and Laura took a walk along the Yampa River from our neighborhood to downtown.

We headed to the bottom of the slopes for dinner that night.

The next day Robyn and Laura took the kids to the alpine slide.

Friday night we all went to the Rodeo.  The girls decided to take a front row seat.

Saturday morning, we woke up to hot air balloons everywhere.  They were having a balloon festival, so they all floated through town that morning.

A family pic before heading to dinner the last night.
