Fall Break

Nana and Papa have taken each of their grandchildren on a trip when they are 13.  Caden went with them on his trip over Fall Break this year.  He chose to go to the Basketball Hall of Fame and a few other places in New England.  Nana and Caden in the library of FDR's house in Hyde Park, NY.

Unfortunately, it was a rainy day when they were at Mystic Seaport.

A few pictures from The Breakers mansion in New Port, RI.

Annabelle needed to be in town on Saturday for her Nutcracker rehearsal.  So we decided to go to Fredericksburg with Lilly Stueve and her mom.  I drove down, and while sitting in quite a bit of traffic in Waco, I took a picture of the new basketball arena that is set to open in January.

The girls have already taken my phone and started taking silly pictures.

We rented a house just off Main street.  After dinner the first night, the girls got in the hot tub.

We went to hike Enchanted Rock the next morning.

We made it!

After hiking, we went back to do some shopping on Main Street.  And a crazy selfie during dinner.

Annabelle is so excited to be in the Nutcracker this year.  She is a Russian, which is the part that she really wanted.  There are 19 Covenant girls in the production this year, which is the most there have ever been.  I put together the ad for the program.

Caden Sets Covenant Cross Country Record!

We got the lights installed on the sport court.  Unfortunately, they are way too bright and a neighbor complained about them.  So we will need to move them.  It is a little ridiculous how bright they are.  It reminds me of Field of Dreams.

The 4th meet of the season was the SAGU Private School State Warm-Up.  The Logic boys waiting for their turn to warm up.  Left to Right: William Womack, Cooper Dow, Liam Fesler, Mason Sosnowski, Caden, Adam Thomason, Daniel Crow, Ethan Ormont, Stone Scovell, Maxwell Jolly, and Caleb Rodgers.

A pic of just the 8th grade boys.

And they're off...Caden finished 6th place with a time of 11:35.92.  This accomplished both of his goals for the year...breaking 12 seconds and breaking the Covenant middle school 2 mile record, which had previously been 11:40 and held by Noah Verdin.

We received school pictures this week.  They were taken before Caden got his braces put on.

Lilly's mom took Lilly and Annabelle to the State Fair this year.  A pic with Big Tex.

They went on a few rides.

And surprise they were being silly on the construction vehicles.
