School Pictures and Start of Basketball for Annabelle

Brian got the Hunt suite at the AAC for the Mavs vs Spurs game.  Annabelle took Lilly and Katherine with her.

Sadly, Wemby and Sochan didn't play.  The kids had fun seeing Wemby and how tall he is compared to the other players.

Caden is officially on the Varsity team, so he participated in media day.  One of Caden's media day pics for basketball.

The first week of November, the school had logic basketball tryouts.  Annabelle and her friend Makenna were the only two 7th graders to make the top (red) team.  They had their first game this week.  Annabelle played great and made 4 3-pointers.  She is excited to finally be playing for the school!

Halloween and Start of Basketball for Caden

 Annabelle went to hang out with some friends for Halloween.

One of Caden's cross country teammates became an Eagle scout, and Caden went to watch his ceremony.

The cross country boys all bought Buc-ees onesies on their way home from state.  They wore them for one of the spirit days during Homecoming week.  A selfie with coach.

Caden took one day off after state, and then started playing basketball.  They had their first game.  They are still short handed, and they will be until the football season wraps up.  Caden is starting and playing the majority of the game.

State Champions!

The cross country teams headed down to Waco for the state championship meet.  We had a send off at school.  A pic of the managers, alternates, and runners.

Maybe one mile into the race, Caden is pacing with Cade and Charlie, which is who he usually runs with for a good portion of the races.

Caden did great on a super tough course in very windy conditions, and he finished 16th.  He was the 4th Covenant kid to finish, and the team won by 60 points, which is incredible.
