Start of Fall Sports

 Caden is running Cross Country.  Annabelle is playing volleyball.  She was the only 7th grader to make the top (red) team.  She is excited to get the season started.

The team started with a win!  And Annabelle played the entire match in all 6 rotations.

Caden's first cross country meet was a relay.  He will be running varsity this season, which means he is one of the top 7 runners.  The course was pretty tough, and they didn't track split times, but he feels pretty good about how he ran.

They had a team breakfast after the race.  He is enjoying getting to know the older boys on the team.

Laura had another tennis tournament.  Her team lost a close one in the finals.

 And just like that, we are back to school.  A few pics before Opening Chapel.  Annabelle being silly.

End of Summer

 We wrapped up summer with a Rangers game.  Caden managed to avoid the camera.

Annabelle had a back to school swim party with Makenna, Hadley, Anais, Katherine, Annabelle, and Lilly.

Annabelle and a few other Covenant girls joined an NCL chapter.  Here are Annabelle, Hadley, Lilly and Audrey getting ready to do a volunteer project.

Steamboat Springs

 We purchased the same Steamboat Springs house at the auction again this year.  We again decided to invite the Tilgers to go with us.  We didn't do a very good job of taking pictures, though.  Adult only night out.

Laura, Annabelle, and the Tilgers went to do a cattle drive.

Caden opted out of the cattle drive, but he really wanted to zipline again.  The Tilgers left a day before we did, so just Caden and Laura went to zipline.
