Since the Covenant boys cross country team has won the state championship for 8 straight years, they have been invited to one of the largest meets in the country. They have been a few times now. The top 7 boys are invited to go. Caden was so excited to race and have a fun weekend with the team. A pic at the airport. They flew in on a Thursday, and they headed to the beach.
After a run Friday, they were back at the beach.
Friday night, all the parents and the team had a dinner at an alumni's grandparent's house. She was so kind to host us.

This meet is so big. They have 50 races; some are on Friday night and the rest are all day Saturday. Caden's race wasn't until Sat night. We got a family pic before the race warm up began.

Some Covenant alumni that go to school in Southern Cal came to watch and support the kids. We took a group pic with parents, the team and the alumni.
Caden ran a great race, and he was very please with his time. It was his first time to run 3mi.; he again was the 4th fastest Covenant runner.
