January Activities

Overall, it has been a very mild winter.  But we did start January off with an inch or so of snow.  The kids loved it!  I enjoyed watching them through the window.

A pic of them on the patio.

And playing on the turf.

We headed to the zoo on the last day of Caden's Christmas vacation.

We went with one of Caden's friends from school.  Annabelle, Luke, Hudson, and Caden climbing on the tortoise statue.

Caden checking out the Bald Eagle.

Hudson and Annabelle on the carousel.

Mimi took the kids to see a production of Peter Pan put on by the High School by her house.  Unfortunately, Tia was under the weather and couldn't make it.  The kids loved it!  Annabelle, Mimi, and Caden before the show.

Caden with Captain Hook.

Caden and Annabelle with Wendy.

We took the kids to their first Dallas Stars game.  Before the game was starting, Annabelle asked, "Who are we cheering for?"  I said, "The green team."  To which she replied, "Oh, Baylor!"  No, but she is clearly being trained well :).  Nice and bundled up and ready for the game to start.

We got out our old Nintendo Wii a few weeks ago.  The kids have had fun playing it a few times.  The kids playing tennis.

Annabelle wanted her hair a little shorter, so I chopped 4-5 inches off a few weeks ago.  It's so cute, and it's the perfect length to still get it in a pony tail for ballet and gymnastics.
