Trail West, Part One

We headed to Trail West, the Young Life family camp, in Buena Vista, Colorado for the week.  We went with four other families.  Two of the families had gone two years ago, and they had told us how fun it was.

Monday morning started with a family challenge and games.  Walking with the "Incredibles" Tilgers to the challenge.

There were some team games after the challenge.  Caden took part in the water bucket relay.

Our group took a Jeep tour Monday afternoon.  We swapped a kid with the Cassells, so we had Garrison in our Jeep.  The videographer captured this pic of us in our Jeep.

Tuesday we went white water rafting.

 

The views were incredible, and the kids just loved it!

Wednesday morning we got up early for our Wrangler Breakfast.  Caden and I rode horses there.

They had you stand about 15-20 feet away from where they were cooking French toast.  Then they tossed it to you.  Here's a picture of Brian, Caden, and Laura catching toast.  Annabelle didn't want to try.

There were so many fun activities for the kids.  They had basketball courts, volleyball courts, corn hole, a play ground, and a fun fort.  The boys playing corn hole one afternoon.
