Hot Springs, Arkansas

We just started a new project to finish out the space over the garage.  They told us that they may need to turn our power off for 48 hours to clean up some wires.  We decided to head out of town for a few days.  Ready to head out of town.

We stopped in Washington to see Historic Washington State Park.

What is supposed to be the largest Magnolia tree in Arkansas.

Down the street from the tree, we found Jolly's Cafe.  Sadly, it was closed.

A pic by the hot springs.

We hiked up to the Hot Springs Mountain Tower.  A pic from the top of the Hot Springs Mountain Tower.

A pic at the top of our hike.

Bear was excited to hike.  He was leading the way.

We walked down bath house row.  We enjoyed seeing the bath house that is now a museum.

An example of what ladies would wear to exercise in at the turn of the century.

The exercise room on the top floor of the bath house was the best west of the Mississippi.

A selfie along bathhouse row.

Bear enjoyed being along for the ride.

We headed to Lake Catherine State Park one day to hike.

Bear wasn't too sure about the swimming hole.
