Girls Weekend and Halloween

Becky came in to town for some book events.  After 4 weeks of no driving, Laura got her driver's license back just in time for her visit.  Becky, Melissa, and Laura at one of the book events in Fort Worth.

Halloween was pretty uneventful this year, since it fell on a monday.  The kids weren't planning on dressing up or trick or treating, until they decided they wanted candy the night of halloween.  Annabelle pulled out Bear's costume from last year, which was way too small.  After a few treats, we finally got Bear to cooperate for a picture.

The kids ended up being a minionish costume (wearing a t shirt from spirit week) and Luka Doncic.

Annabelle played rec volleyball again with friends from school.  Annabelle's team ended up winning first place in the end of season tournament.  Annabelle was able to serve for the win in the first match of the day, and then she again served for the win during the championship game.

After the volleyball tournament, Laura headed over to Fort Worth with tennis friends to watch the WTA finals.  Back row: Amy Moore, Mandy VanDenBerg, Jessica Pierce, Laura, Heather Evetts, Donna Lee.  Front row: Liz McCrary, Katherine Rader, Evi Freeman, Amy Wandstrat, and Laura Frazure.

We had the entire 7th grade over for a pizza party before a home football game.  Despite the fact that it was really cold, the kids had a blast.
