Start of Summer and End of PT

The slab for the sport court has been poured.  The kids have started playing pickleball. We still have a few more things to do...replace falling fence, court surfacing, and do something with the landscaping and yard that has now been torn up by the construction of the sport court.

Basketball goal installed.

Annabelle enjoying lazy mornings and cuddles with Bear.

Annabelle has been working on her cricut.  She made stickers for both kids' trunks for camp.  And she has made a few other custom stickers to sell.

After 7 months of twice a week PT, Laura passed her sports test to be cleared to return to all activities.  Here's a picture of Laura with her PT, also named Laura.

Red Sweater Ceremony and End of School

I can't believe another school year is over.

Annabelle's red sweater ceremony was on the last day of school.  Mrs Mountjoy, the Head of Grammar School, opened the event.

Each child was able to say what their favorite memory in Grammar School was.  Her favorite memory was from the Texas trip.

Annabelle's first day of Grammar School.

And her last.

Then Annabelle's class headed to a trampoline park.

A few days after school was out, Annabelle went to Andretti's for Lilly Stueve's birthday party.

Laura's tennis team had an end of season party.

Logic Awards and End of School Activities

We all headed to Oklahoma City for a basketball tournament.  The girls at dinner the night we arrived: Charlie Slye, Taylor Trampe, Juliet Chen, Annabelle, Elise Sunio, Annabelle Strohbehn, Evelyn Yeager, and Ashlin Tompkins.

Walking back to our hotel.

The boys getting a snack between games.

The boys hanging at the pool after the games.

They've started working on our backyard.

Caden won MVP of the baseball team, which was definitely a surprise.  With no real baseball players on the team, he was rewarded for his attitude and work ethic.

Caden also won an award for the special Latin test they took.

And an award for his art competition entry.

More progress in the backyard.  Preparing to pour the concrete.

Annabelle's volleyball team won the tournament.  Annabelle went up to serve with the score 20-24 in the 3rd game of the semi finals.  She had to serve 5 in a row to keep her team in the match.  They ended up winning that game and the championship.  It was fun and exciting!

Annabelle and Laura then headed to a cookie decorating party.

Then Annabelle had a swim party with her volleyball team to end the season.
