Annabelle and Hadley volunteering at the Pink Out volleyball game.
Caden didn't feel as prepared for this meet after a week off from running during Fall Break, but he still ran a great race. He finished 7th with a time of 11:41.66, so a little off his PR, but still a great time. He was the only Covenant logic runner to medal.
A team picture at the State Championship meet, back row: Assistant Coach Schrag, Head Coach McKinney, Regan McKay, Lila Pinkston, Annie Averitt, Ellie Hines, Gigi Parker, Abby Larson, Rebekah Brewer, Lila Clark, Zoe Conner, Caroline Liggitt, Claire Morgan, Evy Ciborowski, Cate Sperring, and Assistant Coach French. Front row: Cooper Dow, Liam Robertson, Caden, Mason Sosnowski, Caleb Rodgers, Ethan Ormont, Jonathan Unruh, Daniel Crow, Andrew Collins, Adam Thomason, and Maxwell Jolly.
We are so proud of Caden for working so hard this season. Laura rode on her bike along with the kids during most of their long run practices every Wednesday, and Caden was a great leader and set an example of pushing himself to the limit every week. And his hard work definitely paid off, five total races this season and five medals. Way to go Caden!
Now that the backyard is finished, we have hosted a few parties. We had the logic cross country team over for a team dinner one week. And last week we invited the entire 6th grade over to eat pizza and play before the last home football game of the season.
The kids went to friends' houses for Halloween this year. Jax Farrell, Cade Crane, Olivia Lee, Lila Clark, Arden Prouse, Sutton Bruce, Andrew Dawson, Andrew Collins, Cooper Dow, and Caden at the Dawson's house.
Annabelle went over to Lilly's house.
