Trip to San Diego and Thanksgiving

The weekend before Thanksgiving we headed to San Diego.

We visited the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.

The kids having fun at the bat statue.

We went in an area to feed birds.  Kevin with a bird on his head.

Luke and Annabelle feeding the birds.

A bird on Kelly's head.

And a bird on Luke's head.

They asked for parent volunteers during the bird show.  Annabelle wanted me to volunteer, so I did.

The lioness was pacing really close to the glass.

The lion was close, too.

The baby and mommy rhino.

We went for a hike to Annie's Canyon.

A selfie in the canyon.

The kids climbing up into a cove.

Annabelle ahead of us.

Climbing back up was a really tight squeeze.  Caden and Brian behind me.

Annabelle ahead of me.

A family selfie at the top.

Annabelle took a pic of Mommy and Daddy.

Annabelle, Luke, Grandpa, Caden, and Wyatt.

The kids ready to decorate their gingerbread turkeys.

Some tasting and some decorating.

The big boys showing off their turkey.

The littles with their turkey.

Ready to dig in!

Those turkeys didn't survive for long.

We were back in town for Thanksgiving.  We went to the Cowboys game; the kids first time to go to a Cowboys game.

Always nice to be in the suite.
