Start of Summer

We are adjusting to our summer schedule, now that we are back from our trip and the kids are out of school.  We have a few weeks until their summer school starts.  Brian didn't go back to work after our trip until the Tue after Memorial Day, so we had a nice long weekend with Daddy after our trip.

Brian pushing Annabelle at the park.

We went to the Perot Museum one morning, too.  The kids love the racing exhibit; they raced the football player that day.

Last week, the kids went to a camp at a local church for three mornings.  Caden has done this camp the past two summers, and Annabelle was so excited to be old enough to go this year.  The kids ready for camp one day.

Now that it has finally stopped raining, we have been playing outside as much as we can.  Annabelle loves pushing Merley!

The UPS, FedEx, and garbage men are like celebrities around here.  The bulk trash pick up is quite the attraction, since it only comes around once a month.

Annabelle loves to pretend to put make up on with me.

I gave in to temptation and bought a pair of point shoes about a month ago.  Annabelle likes to pretend to wear them.

We went to a picnic at Covenant for all the new families.  Caden had so much fun.  Here he is with a new friend, our buddy family's son Preston.

The kids still love helping with yard work.  Here's Caden helping me bag the trimmings from the bushes.

Annabelle attempting to push the mower.
