Ireland and Scotland Trip - Edinburgh, Part 1

We arrived in Edinburgh on Sunday afternoon.  The weather was nice when we arrived.  After checking in to our hotel, we headed out to explore.

First, we walked down to Holyrood Castle.  It's the official residence of the Queen when she's in town.  Unfortunately, it was closed to tours the week we were there.

There are so many beautiful old buildings along this road from Holyrood Castle heading up to Edinburgh Castle.

We found our restaurant...LOL. 

 

We walked down into Princes Street Gardens.
