Ireland and Scotland Trip - Glasgow

We headed to Glasgow after Dublin.  It was cold and rainy basically the entire 24 hours we were in Glasgow.  After checking in to the hotel, we headed to the West End district.  Before heading to dinner, we walked through the Botanical Garden during a short break in the rain.  It was beautiful.

We tried haggis for the first time.  This is not a great picture.  It had a great flavor; I'm just not a fan of the texture.  But we had to give it a try. I forgot to take a picture before we dug in...

Due to the rain, we opted to do a Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour.  A selfie in George's Square before we hopped on the bus.

We hopped off at the Necropolis.

A selfie in front of Glasgow Cathedral.

It was in the forties and rainy, so after hopping off once, we decided to stay on the remainder of the tour.  A view of St Andrews arch from our seat on the bus.

A fountain in Glasgow Green.

That afternoon, we hopped on the train to head to Edinburgh.
