3 1/2 months

I finally got a video of Caden rolling over yesterday.  He rolled over once, and then i put him on his stomach again to see if he would roll over again.  When I realized he was starting to work on it, I grabbed the camera.  Unfortunately, blogger isn't letting me upload a video.  I'll try posting it later.

We put together the jumperoo for Caden last weekend.  He's a little too small for it, so we had to put a book under it for him to stand on.  Here's a picture of him in it this past week.

Here's a picture of him sitting on the couch...look at that belly :)!

I found this "frightfully cute" halloween outfit on clearance last year.  He's getting so big, I'm not sure it's going to make it 'til October, so I went ahead and took a few pictures in it this week.

And here's a tummy time pic from this week.

Squealing...

Caden's such a happy little guy!  He's really started to squeal quite a bit over the past week.  He will just lay on a mat or sit in his bouncer and jabber and squeal; it's so cute!  Here's a video of a little bit of squealing this past week.

He's getting so big and is such a chunk.  Check out those roly thighs!

Rolling over

Caden rolled over tummy to back (unassisted) for the first time last week.  He had rolled over several times down his tummy time toy (which slants down).  Unfortunately, he's rolled unassisted twice now, and I haven't been quick enough to tape it either time.  Maybe next week I can catch him in action!

We spent a little more time in the pool this weekend.  He likes it.  Here's a video of him "swimming".

He loves to sit in the bouncer and "talk" to me.  Here's a picture from this week.

3 Months

Caden turned three months old last week.  We didn't have a 3 mo dr appt, but I tried to measure him at home.  I think he's 24 1/2" long & 15 lbs.  He's getting so big; you would never know by looking at him now that we were worried about his weight gain at 1 month.

I decided not to have professional pictures taken at 3 months; I'm just going to wait until 6 months.  But I decided to try to play photographer at home and I took some of the following pictures.  I took this one for Brian.  I think it'll be fun to take a picture of him on this blanket every few months.
Oh, how he's grown...

My Aunt, Uncle, and cousin were in town last week.  Here's a picture of Caden with Alice & Christy.

I finally got a picture of Caden in his Baylor outfit.

He's really starting to drool a lot.  It didn't take long for his shirt to get this wet.  I'm going to have to start leaving a bib on him more often.

Swimming and Laughing

Caden took his first dip in the pool today. He doesn't look terribly thrilled in these pictures, but I think he liked it. We just put his legs in; he was getting tired and it was close to nap time, so we didn't push our luck too much.

Caden and Daddy ready for pool time.

Here's a tummy time picture from this week.

I had a meeting up at work, so Caden got to visit Daddy at work again this past week.  I decked him out in Longhorn attire for Brian.

He started laughing a week or so ago, but I hadn't been able to catch him with the video camera.  He doesn't seem to want to laugh when I'm holding the camera in front of him, so today I was talking to him trying to get him to laugh while Brian taped him from the side.

11 Weeks

I took several videos last week. He really loves taking baths. Here's a short video I took at the end of one of his baths.

He really likes tummy time (most of the time). His neck and back are getting so strong. Here's a video of some tummy time this past week.

We pulled out his bumbo chair last week to see if he is ready for it. He's a little wobbly in it, but he does really well considering he's just 2 1/2 months. Here's a pic in his chair. As you can see, he has quite the double chin :).

And a video in his chair.

10 weeks

The big news in our family is that I spoke with my boss on Friday and told him that I did not want to return to work full time. The thought of spending 40+ hours a week away from Caden brings me to tears. I have requested to work two days a week (Mon & Wed). They were very receptive of the idea, but HR still has to approve the situation. I'm sure we'll take it month by month; as it may not work long term for Hunt or myself. But I'm so excited that I don't have to go back full time at all!

We had a nice Monday today with Brian home. I packed up all of Caden's newborn and 3 month size clothing today; I can't believe he's completely outgrown them. It was funny looking at how tiny a few of the newborn outfits that he wore the first week are. I can't believe he actually fit into them.

Here's a picture of Caden in his monkey towel after a bath about a week ago.

Here are a few pictures from today. This bib was a gift; it's kind of funny looking b/c it completely swallows him.

These duck PJ's were a gift. Of course, I had to take a picture of him next to his duck! He thought it was funny (probably because Mommy was cracking up)!

Here's a video of him mostly just grunting (with a little bit of oohing & ahhing).
